Competencia y procedimiento para el reconocimiento del derecho a la asistencia jurídica gratuita

Abstract

Law 1/1996 of January 10, on Free Legal Assistance, moving away from the legislative procedural tradition, dejudicialize the granting of the right to the gratuitousness of the justice, creating a specific administrative body, to which it confers the competence to hear requests for free legal assistance, while designing a general procedure for the recognition of the rights covered by it. This paper is devoted to the study of this general procedure in an attempt to go into it, drawing and showing the lines by which it goes, knowing its rules and sharing some of the ideas and conclusions that their study have suggested us.
