Resumo
The tradition around the figure of the Assyrian king Ninos is very rich and complex. It includes different types of sources: literary and documentary papyri, ostraca, coins, mosaics, reliefs… The study of all these testimonies contributes to prove that the novel of Ninus favored nationalistic sentiments in local elites in the regions of Lydia, Caria and Syria.
