Concentración de nitratos en las fuentes de las comarcas de L'Alcoia y El Comtat (Alicante)

Resumen
Alcoy's district is located on a group of montains in the prebetic valenciano. There is a great number of water natural fountains in this district because of the hydrogeologic characteristics in this zone. The use of the water from these fountains is from drinking. It is very interesting to know the water charcteristies that have because the repercussion that it could has on the people health that drink these water. Intensitive agricultural practices uses a traditional and graving use of the nitrate fertilizers. This concept and the land favor the accumulations of nitrates in undergrouns acuifers. On the nearly 90 fountains, seven studied of them has a nitrate concentration > 50 mg/L, and fourteen of them has a nitrate concentration between 20 to 50 mg/L of nitrate. In this study tried to show the problems of the nitrate in the area with natural fountains.
