Résumé
We have studied the crystalline structures of calcite samples, corresponding to the plates and spines of sea urchins, using the Rietveld X ray diffraction method. We have established the relationship among the volume of the cell of the different samples and the amount of the Pb andZn that is incorporated into the structures.
