Abstract

The interest of the study of the behavior of photopolymers have a great deal in the last years for their capacity to store high density of information. The research in new models in order to explain the recording of a diffraction grating in photopolymers have good advances recently. In this work a new simple model to understand this process is proposed. This model is applied to analyze a PVA/acrylamide photopolymer and some important aspects as the presence of a crosslinker monomer, NN’,methylene-bis-acrylamide (BMA) and the existence of residual monomer are studied
