Laburpena

This work presents the application of Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) as an alternative method (Kogelnik, coupled wave theory or rigorous coupled wave theory) for simulation of volume holographic difraction gratings. Using this method for optic wavelengths makes necessary to add techniques such as PMLs (Perfectly Matched Layers), TF/SF formulation (Total Field/Dispersed Field) and Far-Field transformation for improving performance. The algorithm is applied successfully to different volume holographic difraction gratings.
