Resumo

The present study aims to find out the previous knowledge have on road safety drivers convicts that made the workshops of road safety (TASEVAL), as well as knowing what benefits to drivers offenders of these workshops the program to increase their skills in vial. Participated 111 offenders sentenced to the workshops TASEVAL derived to the Provincial Court of Alicante. For this purpose, a questionnaire was designed ad hoc. The results are somewhat disturbing as the participants report that in general, only have some expertise on the risk factors, on the elements of road safety and the values and irrational beliefs in the field of road safety. On the other hand, the vast majority indicates that they are very useful for learning more about this topic. This suggests that it might be interesting that the information in these workshops is transmitted is not only the drivers but that offenders will be extrapolated to all drivers.
