Resum

This paper is the first codicological analysis of Ausiàs March’s "Cancionero" (Songbook) C, disdained by critics due to the fact that it is a copy of a printed work (Barcelona, Carles Amorós, 1545). Although it is a codex descriptus, this work is paramount and has a great value for understanding the reception of Ausiàs March. It is a codex made and copied in Italy (both its codicological structure and the paper utilized connect it to Venice). In addition, this manuscript (or a copy derived from of it) seems to be the basis for Vicente Mariner’s Latin translation.
