Laburpena

El propósito del presente trabajo de investigación es tratar de identificar las principales corrientes de investigación dentro del campo o dominio científico de la dirección de recursos humanos analizando todos los artículos de investigación publicados en la revista The International Journal of Human Resource Management (IJHRM) durante el período comprendido entre los años 2000 y 2012. En otras palabras o dicho de otro modo, la «estructura intelectual» de la disciplina analizada (the HRM discipline). Los autores utilizan para ello métodos bibliométricos. En particular, se emplearon los análisis de citación y co-citación de autores (ACA). El análisis de redes sociales (SNA) fue también usado para proceder a la representación o visualización de dicha estructura o base de conocimiento. En cuanto a los resultados, el análisis desarrollado nos habría permitido delimitar las diferentes líneas o frentes de investigación que conforman la estructura intelectual de la investigación desarrollada en el campo de la dirección de recursos humanos.
