Resumen

The wiki concept in the field of new technologies applied to education, defines a platform for content creation in a collaborative way. This online support allow the development of close coope- ration between the different members of a team environment to study a given subject, without requi- ring previous knowledge level computer programming or the participants. The educational purposeof a wiki is to allow multiple users to create web pages on the same content, so each user provides through a process of inquiry and study the information gathered from different media, enriching and completing the document developed collaboratively. Contributions can be commented on, expanded or corrected by both the participants of the document online, for teachers responsible for their eva- luation. From our teaching experience we can say that is a truly useful tool for knowledge manage- ment and collaborative learning.
