Abstract

Currently all Spanish universities are immersed in the process of change that aims to adapt to new guidelines from the European convergence process. The characteristic features of this new educational model requires the development of a professional profile, about roles and activities than traditional ones, both the students and the faculty. Taking as its starting point the theoretical framework of inclusive education as a prerequisite for quality and excellence in any educational context, the objective of this work is the planning and implementation of teaching methodologies in the university context to respond to student diversity. The educational proposals generated from this reference to inclusive education have been shown in many studies the degree of impact on the achievement of quality and excellence. The proposed methodological renewal that is pursued with this work, the object of study focuses on improving teaching practice and taking action regarding the approach of inclusive education. The abundant literature generated from the principles of inclusive education has shown its benefits in the educational levels of primary and secondary education, but they have not been given the attention they deserve in the university. It is intended to start that way through this work
