Abstract

Only a few touristic destinations are as insulted as Benidorm is. Benidorm is a part of the tourism perverse speeches due to its urbanism, based on powerful skyscrapers, due to its specialization on sun and beach tourism, or for being a mass destination. Unfairly, it is difficult to speak positively of Benidorm in some forums. The goal of this text is to value, without previous prejudices, what is and represents Benidorm. It is the third tourism receiver in Spain; the second in Europe referred to hotel occupations; it is a place with an urban and touristic ambient where millions of tourists satisfy their illusions annually, and they normally repeat Benidorm as their tourist destination. A place that keeps the leadership from the beginnings of the modern tourism, what is not easily undesrstable for many people.
