Abstract
This article includes a long and enriching interview maintained on March 3, 2011, with the sociologist Mr. Mario Gaviria. Mr. Gaviria is one of the few masters that were early interested on tourism, and, specifically, on the evident changes that were happening in Benidorm. The matters treated during the conversation were diverse, from how Mr. Gaviria was interested on Benidorm, to describing the greatness that converts it in a unique location, until considering Benidorm as the materialization of wellness. His comments do not exlude constructive criticisms, willing that the city can continue being one of the main turistic destinations over the Mediterranean sea.
