Zusammenfassung
The didactic routes seem to be a very innovative resource, but it is convenient to remind their long teaching tradition. This resource contributes to the development of human capacities; it generates significant learning and motivates as much the teacher when preparing as the pupil when practicing. The industrial route along the river Molinar goes through factory ruins which are located in Alcoy and its surroundings (Alicante). The activity has been specially conceived to explain the origin of the industrialization, the industrial factors for choosing the site and the relations between the human being and his environment.
