Abstract
In the last twenty years, a rediscovery of landscape has taken place in current societies. This process links itself to three factors: social revaluation, its consideration as a "new" resource and planning and management of transformations that are produced on a territory. There are analyzed factors that explain the revaluation of this resource, but also conflicts derived from its new functionality. Landscape discovery and revaluation has generated remarkable positive aspects, but still survive numerous shades. An analysis of both processes allows to propose actions that minimize the lack of culture in not protected landscapes management.
