Resumo

Given a Semi-Infinite Programming Problem, if we can find a finite representation of the feasible set, the methods for programs with a finite number of constraints can be applied to solve the problem. In the first part we characterize the infinite linear system which can be reduced to a finite equivalent one, and some sufficient conditions and methods are given. In the second part we study different ways to obtain a finite representation of the set of solutions of a given infinite system
