Abstract

Six Iberolevantine (Eastern Spain) taxa of Biscutella ser. Laevigatae Malinov. (Brassicaceae) are studied in this work: B. alcarriae, B. atropurpurea, B. calduchii, B. fontqueri, B. turolensis and B. valentina. The epithet B. turolensis Pau ex M. B. Crespo, J. Güemes & G. Mateo, sp. nov., which was repeatedly used and never validly published, is proposed for the plants oceurríng in the supra- and oromediterranean calcareous áreas of the southern Sistema Ibérico. Besides, several data on morphology, synonymy, ecology, biogeography and variability, completing the current knowledge of each taxon, are also reported.
