Abstract
We suggest some didactic activities which will help students understand the influence of isostasy and the heat flow on the relief of the Planet and its relationship with the Plate Tectonics. Three of these activities are based on digital didactic resources, of free access in one of the isostasy webpages, while the other one uses scale models. These resources will let us simulate and simplify the real processes of our planet which students find particularly complex due to the great time and space scales involved. The results obtained with these activities in some small groups of students of 4º ESO showed how most of them reached the objectives planned getting a wider knowledge of the Earth relief and applying some of the factors which influence its development.
