Résumé

Nowadays, universities show an increasing concern about quality as means of improving and satisfying the demands of their users (students, firms, institutions, etc.). Such improvements should be focused on research, services and teaching, the last being one of the less acknowledged fields. Amongst the techniques used for achieving this goal outstand that called "critical friends", which consists in evaluating teaching practices by the own colleagues, and also the carrying on of surveys among students. The purpose of this paper is to reflect the working procedures of a network of teachers in the University of Alicante and its results after the application of both of the abovementioned techniques, in order to optimize the in-classroom learning-teaching process.
