Abstract
Hail storms are one of the most harmful climatic risk for agriculture in valencian lands. With a risk calendar that extends between April to October, the different regions suffer consequences of this meteorological phenomena with different effects. Thought and cold air pool, originated by different air masses expansions -artic and polar air masses- are meteorological origin that cause growth of powerfull convective clouds with hail. This paper offers a hail storms risk map in valencian region according to his frequency and agricultural economic losses in order to make crop manegement proposals.
