Abstract
The natural corridors of Almansa and Valle del Vinalopó have benefitted throughout history from their strategic location which led to their early industrial development. This natural crossroad of connections was further helped by its key position in the Madridcoast axis until the middle of this century. Nowadays it enjoys such a positive situation that it will go on being a key channel in the new framework of the north-south relationship in European Mediterranean region. In this particular field, we analyse which the main manufacturing subsectors demand, with an intraregional scale.
