Resumo
Aridity and hydric resources scarceness have conciliated the existence of a wide irrigated area on the Vinalopó Medio (Alicante-Spain), subjected to subterranean water-bearings development. The uncontrolled extension of the grape growing next to the unreasonable use of water, imperil the own economic viability of the rural sector in this zone. The use of drip irrigation systems in high frequence and the extension of putting into a pond capacity, are part of a reform process and a posible solution to the problem.
