Abstract
The analysis of spatial distribution of criminal acts leads us to the relation between these and some socioeconomic indicators, such as level of education or instrucción, income per capita, percentage of population with a second residence, etc... The use of quantitative methods aswell as mapping of the distribution of criminal rates is of great interest in the research for explanations to this serious problem of today.
