Abstract
The technical level and the new socio-economic conditions have lead to abandon or transform the traditional ways of cultivating the slopes, and in certain areas new ways of utilization of the land have taken over due to the increasing capitalización of the ground. All this leads to the intensification of the erosive process and therefore we now find badlands pipings and gullies which create a morphogenetic unstableness of the area and contribute to the disorganization of the water flow, with important negative effects during periods of floods. A specific planning of these arcas is needed, as well as preventive measures and the regulation of the utilization of the land.
