Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a basic mechanism for nations to modernize its economic structure and adapt them to changing conditions imposed by an unstable and complex world situation. As J.B. Say said, the entrepreneur shifts resources to where they are most profitable, and thus optimizes social wealth. So, make better, more efficient, the process of entrepreneurship is of course a very important task. The AVIN methodology (Analysis and Validation Business Ideas) was designed in the aim of making more efficient the evaluation step of business ideas, trying to reduce the rate of failure in entrepreneurial experience. This article explains how AVIN has been implemented in a computer application (named AVINapp), which makes use of the method much more structured and efficient. We must emphasize the applicability of this tool to situations of projects already implemented and in development, with the purpose of evaluating and, if appropriate, modifying and optimizing its performance.
