Laburpena

The goal of this research was to study the different underlying structures of the scheme the limit of a function schema of 23 post-secondary students with a trans level of development of the limit of a function schema. The schema of the limit of a function was characterized in terms of the students� dynamic conception of the limit by coordinating the approaches in the domain and in the range, distinguishing those in which lateral approaches match of mismatches. Furthermore, our results suggest that students generate different underlying structures in the scheme in relation to the relationships established between the limit of a function at a point and its graphical representation.
