Abstract
Images of Democratic Memory: comics as a teaching resource is an exhibition intended for classrooms. Through vignettes and explanatory texts, it proposes a vision of the history of Spain from the beginning of the 20th century to the beginning of the Transition. It has been developed by the Geography and History consultancy of the CEFIRE Humanistic and Social of the Valencian Community using works of renowned authors such as Paco Roca, Antonio Altarriba or Sento as well as the texts created by the Interuniversity Chair of Democratic Memory. Since November 2018, teachers in the community have had access to this tool that combines comics, history, democratic memory, and active methodologies.
