Abstract
This paper present the results of the 2nd year of the archaeological survey of Rock Art conducted in the Fountains of the Betwa (Madyha Pradesh, India): Kathotia’s enclave, started in the year 2012. The archaeological research was focused on the field work led in the north and west sectors of Valley Kathotia. The archaeological documentation of shelters number 3, 13 and 23 located in the first archaeological season were also carried out. The results allow to have information about the spatial distribution of rock art and also it’s associated archaeological sites, attached to the Mesolithic and the Chalcolithic periods. At the same time it has been possible the recording and documenting of three shelters and to establish a first chronological sequence that includes at least two Chalcolithic phases and three phases before this period.
