Abstract

This contribution, necessarily brief, is inserted in an interdisciplinary and international research project that aims to study in comparative historical perspective the climate, risk, catastrophe and criseson both sides of the Atlantic during the Little Ice Age. Within this general objective, more specific ones are inscribed, linked to the different research options that, like tree branches, emerge from the common trunk of social and economic history.
