Abstract

Thick photopolymers are the base to design holographic memories. The high thickness implies the reformulation of the 2-dimensional models to take into account the absorption of the light inside the material and the effects derived from this phenomenon. In this work we analyze deviation of the sinusoidal profile in the gratings stored in the photopolymer using 3-dimensional model solved by finite differences method.
