Abstract
Los modelos de Thomson y Rutherford constituyen el punto de partida del estudio de la estructura atómica de todos los cursos de Química. En este trabajo mostramos que la presentación que se suele hacer en la enseñanza de dichos modelos está bastante alejada de las aportaciones realizadas en su momento por Thomson y Rutherford.
